The road itself is not actually very long, and the weather in Victoria is famously temperamental, but the Great Ocean Road’s stunning winding coastline is worth the drive. Grab a map from tourist information and follow the road as it twists and turns along the rocky cliffs. There are many other beautiful stops along the way, all these will be highlighted on the map. A great number of natural interests such as waterfalls and hidden beaches line the road. As do gorgeous beach front towns, worth a stop either for an ice cream or as refuge from the rain.
